Take the Rodne Lysefjord cruise for sure! The boat goes within a few feet of a massive waterfall - you get wet, but who cares! It was well worth it!!

Great port town. Lots of restaurants, shops, and bars. Has a lively nightlife. Fun to walk about the marina and see fishing vessels. Little houses along the marina house restaurants and bars.

Lovely city. Very nice and friendly people. Go and see the fish canning factory museum because it's really interesting. Also go and see the Maritime museum because it is free if you took the fish canning factory ticket. Both museums are very interesting and tell a story about the city itself.

Once again we opted to sightsee independently by Hop on/off bus with stops in Old Stavanger, the magnificent cathedral, the Stavanger Museum
