Fascinating views. Waste a lot of time in traffic jams. Left behind by our guide in the Catherine Palace. Had to enlist another group to return to ship. Scary being left behind with no visa and an hour by bus away from the ship. Peterhof and the Hermitage are the best options. Wish had more time instead of on the bus to walk around the city. Had to see and take photos from the bus on interesting monuments . Time wasted in traffic jams could have been used to see more sites

Visited 7/18-719 2016 we did the 2 day excursion with a very nice and knowledgeable guide. We visited Catherine's Palace, The Hermitage, Peterhof and Church of St Peter and St Paul where the tombs of the Czars and Czarinas are. We had ample photo ops at St Isaacs and the Church of the Spilled Blood. A traditional Russian lunch was served each day at two different restaurants. Of course Vodka and champagne were served with each! I highly recommend this excursion worth every penny! This was truly a dream come true to me since I was a little girl, I wanted to see all these palaces that my Babushka told me about. My Mom's first time back to Russia in 72 years was also special.

We did two excursions--Classical St. Petersburg and Peter the Greats Grand Palace--both were very good. Then we attended the Russian Ballet--amazing seats and performance. So much to see, could have spent another day in this port.
