The visit to the Old Town was the best part of this excursion. The rest again was an investment of time in the bus. The visit to the Royal Palace is a waste of time and the physical time to get in and out of the bus to take pictures two miles away is a joke.

Fascinating views. Waste a lot of time in traffic jams. Left behind by our guide in the Catherine Palace. Had to enlist another group to return to ship. Scary being left behind with no visa and an hour by bus away from the ship. Peterhof and the Hermitage are the best options. Wish had more time instead of on the bus to walk around the city. Had to see and take photos from the bus on interesting monuments . Time wasted in traffic jams could have been used to see more sites

The Royal Palace is not well kept and depressing to view at times. No wander they do not allow pictures. A shuttle bus from the ship would have suffice to see more of very little which is available to see
