More gold leaf than one can imagine. Amazing 2 days of touring which never seemed to be enough so much to see. We were also very lucky with the weather.

we were in Port 2 days. Could explore St. Petersburg without a visa unless we booked an excursion or applied for a visa prior to visiting. We did a river canal tour which included champagne. Visited the Hermitage Museum which was very fantastic and beautiful. Very overwhelming. 2nd day we did a bus tour which I found very long but information.

The lines for the museums extremely long and immigration was terrible, be prepared to wait for hours. Despite those issues, the Hermitage is an incredible sight to see.
