Shore excursions were worth it. Russia in general is depressing and dirty.

Beautiful city. Hermitage was beautiful but expected to see more artwork and not so much palace. Took the excursion to Moscow and it was great too.

Favorite city-plenty of time to explore all the highlights. We had a private 3 day tour with an accessible van-though Sage Traveling. I highly recommend it to your handicap guests.

Awesome port - wished we had one extra day there - so MUCH to do. Hire a private tour guide rather than go on a ship or other large excursion - you get more done in a shorter time.

Disembarking and returning were long lines and cumbersome, perhaps Mr. Putin should consider that we are bring in hard currency and we like the Russian people!

We did the ship's Grand Tour of Petersburg. I think this was a way to go, but we couldn't finsih because of a medical emergency. they would not let one of our party continue on the ship because of the medical problem, so our trip ended here.
