Did not do an excursion but did walk around. Was rainy when we were there so did little exploring. Stayed at Holiday Inn that was only a few minutes walk to the terminal. We stayed on the top floor on the west side of the building and were able to watch the ship dock.

We boarded here, but spent 2 days prior in London. Didn't look like there was really anything in the port to see or do.

The ship let us off last and said we were on our own! Find your own transportation and lodging!!! Disgraceful!!!! They should be sued for the lack of caring for us and for not keeping us informed along the way. We were just discarded without a care.

Who knew that our transport from Southampton to Heathrow Airport would turn into a guided tour of sights along the way. Our driver was part tour guide and part comedian. We even got a glimpse of Ascot, the race track. Blessed are retired soldiers who enjoy serving rather than vegging in front of the television.
