Took an excursion A Day in the Capitol. The tour guide had to repeat everything in four different languages. We had hours of free time at a plaza but then breezed by Buckingham Palace. Would have preferred if we could had 10 minutes to walk the blocks around the Palace and get at least one photo. I don't recall guide mentioning Big Ben either... Will have to go back.

Great port to start out from, embarking is easy and nice and smooth. The staff are friendly and the port terminals are spacious. Traffic in Southampton can be busy in the summer months so allow extra time to get there early

Southampton is a nice historic town. If you have the opportunity to explore the city before embarking, I highly recommend it.

I visited Stonehenge before my cruise. Toured the English countryside. Trip from Hilton Doubletree to port was quick and easy.

Was our Port if disembarkation, took tour bus to London Victoria, were they drpped us off was walking distance, from hotel. Park Plaza Victoria.

Just got back from my Royal Caribbean cruise around the Mediterranean I think I will stick with P&O cruising drinks too expensive on Royal Caribbean half the price on P&O

Southampton is always interesting and plenty to do there. If you have seen it all Portsmouth is a short drive to more.
