Easy and convenient transfer to the train to London by TAXI, on arrival. Good taxi service from rental car return for the ship on our return. We stayed overnight nearby in the small village of Hindon, which was quite nice and recommended over staying in Southampton..

book a later flight so you can get the tour to Stonehenge that drops you at the airport and is only $30.00 more then just the bus rite to the airport.

Spent 3 days before getting on the ship, enjoyed walking the walls and shopping, as well as the pubs especially the first one down the waterfront from the Holliday Inn outside of the Port.

We took the crew bus up to West Quay for shopping, then walked up to the SeaCity museum, then walked back to the pier, stopping at several historical locations.

Southampton is a nice port, easy to embark and disembark. From London, we took a coach bus through National Express, which was much cheaper than the ships transfer. We walked from the coach station all the way to the terminal with our luggage, which was not ideal but it is an option for those who don’t have a transfer or a car.

Seamless check in process, fairly quick and easy. We departed September last year to embark on the 3 night mini cruise on the MSc Virtuosa to Rotterdam. Enjoyed this experience that much we agreed to book a cruise of a life time next year sailing from Miami.

Every 45-60 minutes free Shuttle bus. Excelent guide with much informations. Man can leave tips for driver and guide. We went to Tudors house and garden. Nice place, 5£ per person fee, coffee 2.80£.
