Review summary

Overall a nice voyage, although the weather was disappointing as were the shows. We do like the ship and the service very much.

Embarkation was easy, especially good as we were travelling with a dog for the Kennel

The maid dining room was good. Sitting upstairs on Deck 3, rather than the main dining area was more quiet and the waiter and assistant waiter were possible the best we've had on over 30 cruises.

We were dissapointed in the stage show and comedian on this voyage. The singer was much better.

Service and Staff

Fantastic dining room service. In the Kings Court, however, we were disappointed with the service. Picking up dishes and cleaning tables was spotty and quite slow at times.

Common areas were large and well appointed.

We enjoyed the cabin, although with the sheltered balcony it was not as light as the prior cabin on Deck 12. Location was good to reach the restaurants and public areas.

Easy and convenient transfer to the train to London by TAXI, on arrival. Good taxi service from rental car return for the ship on our return. We stayed overnight nearby in the small village of Hindon, which was quite nice and recommended over staying in Southampton..

New York, New York

Good taxi service from the port to Neward Airport for much less than Cunard wanted for the same service.

Disembarkation

Excellent, except that one of our pieces of luggage was misplaced and hard to find. Also, no carts and extremely hard to get porter service. Our porter ended up helping two other passengers who could not get a porter.
