Only those who had booked the overland excursion to Geirganger were able to depart the cruise ship. It was a beautiful site to see the waterfall in the center of the town upon arrival.

The tour that includes the whole day and delivers you to Geiranger at the end of day was the best tour on the trip. Hair pin turns and lookout points that were beautiful in the fjords.

Nice little village with a fantastic waterfall. Great souvenir shop and wonderful nature. Good place to hike, there are many walking routes. I really enjoyed it here!

Was on the 18-25 May 2019 Sapphire Princess cruise and they cancelled this port, as not enough people signed up to their organised excursions. So we couldn't even get off to have a look. However we sailed passed and it looked just as pretty as Geiranger.

My wife stated this was her best day ever on a cruise. We had a ferry down to Gerainger. The beauty was beyond words. Nuff said.

Small place, not much to do, but great waterfall to see and great views across the fjord.

We did a glacier hike excursion through MSC. The scenic drive was long, but beautiful and it was a pretty tough hike. The view was worth it!
