Not a great city, but we rented a car and extensively toured on oue own Karmoy island, including the Viking Heritage Museun and the lovely fishing town of Skudeneshavn

Quiet and not much going on. We have great weather so walked to the Norway National Monument but aside from that there wasn't much to do. Got an amazing sendoff from a local marching band though!

Our last port of call, we done a tour of the viking village in Avaldsnes, highly recommended, very informative and gives good accounts of viking history in Norway, really well put together group of viking era buildings too.

After a tiring few days we did not go onshore. But loved the views from the infinity pool and hot tubs

Did a tour of Viking village and museum. Best cruise line tour we have done.

I was there on Sunday, and all shops are closed. It’s a gorgeous town. You can walk from the ship. But if you have difficulties with walking, you can take a paid shuttle which drop you down town. Beware that you need to pass a steep bridge

Not much here, we got a land train for a tour of city then stopped off in the centre. Nothing special but ok. Would recommend you do an excursion if there is a decent one.
