What an amazing place! However unless you do the train trip there doesn’t appear to be a lot going on but it is breathtakingly beautiful. Lovely farewell to the ship when leaving this port.

Now if you want to know what the color Norwegian Blue looks like.... well, that's the color of the sky here !!! So beautiful... we took the bus up the mountain and they had just cleared the snow for the roadway... on sides was about 20 ft high! Such beautiful sights !!!

Train was sold out and was not about to pay excursion prices so we rented bikes just steps away from the terminal and biked into an out church in old flam and hiked up to see waterfall. Beautiful area.

Flaam Railway, we prebooked independently much cheaper than booking via the ship. Just make sure you book a return journey. We had a wheelchair so spaces are limited even more so book as soon as they become available. A benefit for us was that our specific seats were reserved for us. Lovely scenery & a nice surprise at the half way point. We also had children with us, we enjoyed stone skimming, it was so pretty. One of my favourite ports.

Tiny village but the Flambana railway to Myrdal is breathtaking.

Not a lot to do here unless you take an excursion. There is some walking trails. It was all very pretty. Nice relaxing stop.

Wonderful time - took 1/2 day train ride and loved very minute on the train - . Remember to sit on the right side of the train on the way up or you'll be looking at the mountain .
