Great city, we arrived early for the cruise to enjoy the area, it turned out to be a marvelous experience both prior to the cruise for the an extra day at the end of the cruise.

Loved Denmark, but I have ancestry here, so I'm pretty biased! It is worth your time to go see Kronborg Castle by train. We also rented a car and went to the island of Fyn to see family. Lots to see and do in a town that seems clean and made us feel safe. Check out the free walking tours!

We sailed from here on April 29. Arrived two days early. Did the hop on hop off bus combined with a canal tour. Enjoyed the canal tour more. It allows you a different view of the city. The people were friendly and most spoke some English. We stayed at the Crown Plaza which has a shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port. The airport was only equal to 2 euros and the port shuttle only 15. We did not book cruise transfer and ended up paying almost $80 US for a taxi to the airport. Driver said it was a holiday! Enjoyed the city and the people but one of the most expensive cities we have visited.

On our own with Hop on/Hop off bus and canal boat. Excellent overview of all the major highlights of the city. Saw changing of the guard at the Royal Palace at 11:00 am. Visited Tivoli and had dinner at a restaurant in the Gardens.

Beautiful city! We spent the night here before and after the cruise. We loved it here! It was so easy to get around using the buses. We went to Tivoli and spent the day there the first day and took a city and harbor tour from the ship the last day. The harbor tour was the best!!
