Review summary

We really enjoyed our 25 day Baltic and transatlantic cruise on the Regal Princess! She was a beautiful ship, and had a great crew! We celebrated our 35th Anniversary aboard the vessel, and renewed our vows in the chapel with the Captain conducting the ceremony. Extremely memorable cruise! I would love to cruise on this class of ship again. The cantilevered walkway over the sea was awesome, and we loved the Princess theater with it's great shows!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining was very good to excellent! The waitstaff and bar staff did an outstanding job.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were numerous choices of activities onboard the Regal. The shows were outstanding for the most part. The cruise director and staff did a great job. Nice gym, even though we only visited it twice.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
As stated most shows were outstanding! Some really good comedians too!

Children's Programs

We did not have a child.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service on the Regal was some of the best at sea! Most everyone were friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
One of our favorite vessels we have sailed on, and we have been on many. Unique design. Best Princess theater to date!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a fantastic cabin. It was a Mini Suite located on Aloha deck 12, cabin A426, I believe. Comfortable room, bed, plenty of space, and a nice balcony.

Ship tip

Make sure and see some shows in the beautiful Princess theater.

Ports of call

Copenhagen, Denmark

5 out of 5
We stayed in Copenhagen prior to the cruise. It was a very nice city with many dining options with good food. Most locals speak English pretty well.

Oslo, Norway

5 out of 5
We liked Oslo. Very scenic Scandinavian city!

Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany

5 out of 5
We liked Berlin. It was a 3 hour train ride each way to get there, but worth it! Very historic and memorable. Great tour!

Tallinn, Estonia

4 out of 5
We took a tour of the upper old town, which was scenic but quite crowded. We had an awesome guide! It was the crowds that kept us from giving it an excellent rating, but I would have given it a very good rating.

St. Petersburg, Russian Federation

5 out of 5
Our favorite port! Awesome tour guide! We took the top 2 day Grand tour. A very unique city and an very memorable tour! Amazing palaces and churches with so much gold! Only non positive comments are crowds on most tours, and we could have spent another day in St Petersburg; so much to see. Breathtaking!

Helsinki, Finland

5 out of 5
Helsinki was a beautiful city. We enjoyed our tour of the city as well. We also visited an ice bar, which was a unique experience!

Nynashamn (Stockholm), Sweden

5 out of 5
We loved the city. We visited the historic sailing ship, the Vasa, which sank in the harbor on it's inaugural voyage. We toured the city and the old town and had an excellent guide!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation in Brooklyn NY after our transatlantic crossing was also smooth and efficient!
