We have been through Belfast a few times, so we got a shuttle bus into the city & explored on our own. The feeling of the city is very much the same as Glasgow, warm & friendly. My only complaint was that there was an issue with one of the sewage pipes in the area we were, they were in the process of fixing it, but the overriding smell is one that I can’t forget. We would, and probably will return to Belfast in the future.

Got great insight into the political feud between the loyalists and the nationalists, did a private tour that let us really drill into some of the off beaten tracks and then able to visit things like the Sein Fein museum and other sights that the tour busses cant go.

Did excursion through ncl to giants causeway. It was alright but crowded and rushed. Walked down to causeway but there is a bus option. Not a fan of being shuffled around.

Great vibrant city, use the taxis they are cheaper than the ship shuttle.

Giant’s causeway not to be missed. Bit of a long drive from the ship but went quickly due to the beautiful scenery. Beautiful hike with several trails to choose from, lots of people but did not seem to be intrusive at all. I ended up on most difficult trail but was worth it for the amazing view. Would definitely return and spend more time -

I wish we had more time to see the city of Belfast. We took the Giants Causeway excursion. Very interesting natural site with thousands of people. While it was interesting to see it was not worth the drive; yet the drive was pretty and we did see some interesting ruins. To actually see the Causeway is about a one mile hike. There is a shuttle with a very long line.
