What was the sailing like up to and around Iceland. We’ve heard that the water can be rough. Wondering if someone would share their opinions on this who’ve already been there. I don’t want to plan a vacation to be seasick.

We hired a taxi driver at only taxi center which was a short walk from ship for us$240 and visited the Godfoss water falls which is beautiful. After we walked around town center and then to ship.

NCL Excursion: Akureyri & Santa's House. Pretty scenery, but probably could have skipped this one as well.

We enjoyed Akureyri although we did not do a tour. The port was close to the ship dock and was very pleasant to walk around and do a little Icelandic shopping.

Loved Akureyri, did our own walking tour. Weather was beautiful and the scenery was spectacular, very expensive!
