Went to Florence only and also because we were traveling privately were able to go to a last minute wine tasting at a local vineyard.

1.5 hours to Florence each way. Lost a lot of time.

The history of Florence, the amazing artwork, and the architecture are the main draws, but as expected travelling here during summer means elbow to elbow people.

Loved it and would go back to visit again.

Went to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square. Too many african decent people chasing you around trying to sell their trinkets. They did not stop. They made every one uncomfortable.

Florence is our number one choice! Pisa was a waste of time.

Nothing to do in this port unless you get into a costly excursion

Did an excursion. Tour guide was good. Went to a "special lunch". However the lunch was served outside in the terrible heat with little shade. It was very uncomfortable.

Fantastic! We opted to visit Siena, and San Giminano...it was the perfect Livorno port visit!
