Found the way the port is monopolised for taxis where better service and prices found outside the port is off putting - PISA and Florence as places to visit well worth the stop

Very crowded, we took a train to Florence but by the time we got there we really had to hurry to get back to the ship on time.

Took train to Lucca which is a great walled Tuscany town, We had been to Florence on 3 other ocassions, but also an easy train ride a way.
