Took the Florence and Pisa on your own excursion. Fantastic! They bus you to Pisa and you have plenty of time to look around, take photos, shop, and eat. If you find a pistachio creme cannoli, get one. Then you’re bused to Florence with time to explore. The guide on the bus gives great information throughout the ride.

We just caught the bus into Florence and wandered around on our own as we had been here before as well, love Florence, purchased some 👠 and 👜 had some lunch and drinks wandered over the Ponte Vecchio Bridge again it’s always crowded.

Florence on your own was also horrible. Very little guidance and lots of stress with little time to do much. Very disappointing for our whole group.

Stunning city! This was my second visit. We took a private tour - of Florence and Pisa. There were four of us in a mini van including an electric scooter for the day €500. Much better value than ship excursions - and personalised service from Simona. (Italian Private Tours in English) She drove right up close to every main sight, which meant my mum didn’t have far to go on her scooter. Simona even booked us lunch and stopped in the Tuscan Hills for a photo opportunity!
