I loved the port and the city as well. Be aware there is a great deal of walking on this tour. We walked 7 miles this day.

Forence is an amazing city but we had been before and went to Cinque Terre. The trains are complicated but worth the effort.

We did a private tour to Pisa, but spend the majority of the day in beautiful Florence. The tour guide was such a treat and showed great passion for her city. Hit the tower 1st to avoid the tourist and to get a nice pic of you holding the tower. With the free time we had in Florence we spend time on a Carousel and of course the Disney shop ...

Yes, we did an excursion. Much too little time in each city very hurried made it not nearly as enjoyable as it could have been. Three stars is because of that not because of lovely Pisa and Florence.

Our private driver covered alot of ground and handled the crazy traffic. Don't over plan, the Vatican takes half day at best.
