Loved the Leaning tower tour. Just wasn't given enough time for shopping also.

Another tour by a private company. We visited Pisa, Livorno and various other sites. Really enjoyed our tour guide (Katia). She was friendly and knowledgable. She even taught us all a little Italian. A wonderful tour.

Watched YouTube vids and read Rick Steves book on how to get to Florence. Was an amazing experience and loved it. So many photos taken. Did a walking tour and learned a lot. Missed our train back but caught one and made it back just in time

This port is fine. Livorno is fairly small, but the taxi drivers will soak you for a ride to the train station. You may be better off taking the cruise bus there. We road the train to Pisa, which was also nice and a lot of walking to get to the famous leaning tower.
