Beautiful city and not an unreasonable ride to Rome. Unfortunately everyone wants to be in Rome so it is very crowded. Highly recommend a private tour as opposed to the bus load of people.

We got drowned here but it's a great city.

Had booked an excursion, which was cancelled. Walked around the town instead, but being a Sunday it was mostly closed. Not a particularly exciting place. Extremely windy down by the sea.

Use the opp hop off bus. It goes everywhere you would want to go in Rome

Since we had already been to Rome we chose to visit the Italian countryside and do the olive oil tasting. There wasn't enough to see and do and the bus drive was just too much compared to the amount of time off the bus.

Loved Rome. Again not enough time to see as much as we would have liked to -- lines were too long, but we were able to see various sights via a private taxi tour.

It seemed like our tour guide rushed us though the Sistine chapel and Vatican. We did not have time to stand and appreciate the art. It was also VERY crowded

Again, a very rushed tour with a guide who didn’t have much time for people who lagged behind. Very crowded and long queues to get through security into the Colosseum and the Forum, not helped by the scorching weather!! Would return to do it again at own pace. Great restaurant (Jazz Cafe) just round the corner from Piazza Navona.

We hired a private driver here which allowed us to pack a ton into a single day. So many amazing sights to see, tough to see it all in a day. Enjoyed an incredible lunch here (at the suggestion of our driver).

We did Rome on our own. What's not to love about Rome? Two things: 1. Pickpockets everywhere, so be very careful! 2. The time allowed is just not enough to see and do all that we wanted. I felt very rushed! The port is an hour away by train too, so be careful not to be late.
