Did private tour of coliseum, forum, pantheon and then vatican museum and Sistine Chapel using viator. Beautiful tour. excellent guides, and comfortable ride to and from ship/port. It was a long day though. Grateful we used private tour over bus.

Came off a Princess Cruise & had 3 days prior to this cruise. Three days in Civitavecchia is 2 days too long. Did take the train direct to Rome one day to kill time. Not much to do here.

We took a private escorted tour of Rome which was awesome as we were able to plan our own itinerary and see everything that interested us.
