Again too short. Coliseum, Roman Forum, and St. Peter's Basilica. Such an interesting city with so much to see. I hope to get back there soon.

i would like to have been advised to not get off the ship ==it wasn't worth all the bother to get to rome==we were under the impression that we were goiing to be dropped off in the Vatican Area which didn't happen; if we were forewarned the inconvenience involved to get to rome center==we would have stayed on board; it was a wasted day.

Do an excursion, Civitavecchia is 90 minutes from Rome and with the excursions you get priority access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel
