"Rome & Leisure" was great! Just enough of everything.

Toured with ViAtor because our ship excursion was cancelled for some reason. Got a good skip- the- line Vatican tour through them.

This port is really just for embarkation, I wouldn’t visit here otherwise.

We toured on our own spending the day at the Vatican and the Museums. Was very easy to get from the dock to the Vatican using the train. Also considerably cheaper. We did not wait in any lines for more than 20 minutes.

Excursion could have started earlier than 9:30 as so much to see. We found it a bit rushed.

The normal train is slow and can be not very dependable. We bought train tickets through the cruise line so if something happened with the train, we wouldn't get left behind.

Be prepared for crowds, and lots of them, if you do a before or after stay in Rome. The choice of the St. Regis hotel was great. The service and staff, which is excellent, prepare you mentally for the great experience you will have on Crystal.
