Rome was absolutely amazing. We got a tour guide and he couldn't have been any better. It was 40°c and he got us cold water and postcards. We got to see everything we wanted and had some time to spare

Fun, fun, fun! We did not take an excursion from this port, but took the day to rest and relax. We spent the day in Civitavechia, and enjoyed the town center, shopping, eating and experiencing the wonderful people.

We did a $1000 Cdn excursion in Rome (2 people). It was a jam packed day with all the top sites but if you wanted to do any shopping this was not the excursion for you. I would suggest a structured excursion like this one if you truly wish to most of the religious and historic sites as it's very hectic in Rome and lots and lots of people. Easy to get lost!

We did an all day excursion four a whirlwind tour of Rome! If you choose the 13hr. Trip, make sure your physically able. Several passengers didn't realize the rigor of the day and stayed behind on the bus at a few stops. A shame to be in Rome and be able to see the amazing history.

The port itself is not very remarkable but they do know how to get you on your way to Rome: free shuttle from ship, bus to train terminal, and train to Rome. Actually it was quite easy to figure out, the whole transfer less than €12.

We disembarked here. We did this on our own. We booked a tour of the Colosseum, The Forum and Pallentine Hill through Viator. Tour was for our kids 21 and 13 since we have done with a private tourguide one on one. I have to say 5 stars to Viator. Our guide was Barbara and we had 16 to our group. She was better than the one private guide we had 2 years ago.

Just Fabulous. So much to see and do here but careful planning is needed if you just have the one day. We had two and still didn’t get anywhere near doing everything we’d hoped to.

Didn't see civi, but Rome is amazing, the city is just full of history. The colosseum, treve fountains, ben hur chariot arena, vatican just brilliant.

It is what it is - it's not Rome, it's not close. Taking the bus to the drop off point is no big deal - don't waste your money on the bus to the trains if you are able to walk. It's short, quick and convenient. Be prepared to be yelled at by all the vendors who want to give you a ride.
