Stayed in Hotel Traghetto the day before departure. Giuseppe (desk clerk) tipped us off to coffee houses and restaurants.. We sat in a square and watch some local children play soccer, met some other travels, and had an amazing dinner at Cibus Hostaria Romana,

Paid 2 euro shuttle bus to train station, if you are not in a hurry, walking to train station is not too far and along the seafront with good views

Always enjoy Rome but this trip was enhanced by an Azamara organised extra 2 nighy stay pre-cruise.

Did shuttle train as we thought we would get more time. NOT THE CASE. been to rome a number of times. This time for a trevi fountain visit. To find major maintenance being carried out. NOT informed so no nice pics this time.
