A very nice port and also new to us. The main centre was some way from the berth so shuttle busses were arranged. We were on a tour of the Dalmation coast but really only went to the small city of Nin. First to the saltpans!!!!? where we got a full account of salt making and the natural history of the pans plus museum/shop. Then the city itself which was very good. Finally on our way back we had some very good refreshments at a restaurant in some woods. All in all very pleasant.

There was not as much to do and see, although the museum was excellent and definitely worth the entry fee. We did not book an excursion and did not know how to find a bus for trip to the beautiful parts of Croatia. If we had been closer to their national parks, we would have tried harder to find a bus or take a taxi.

Krka National park and it's waterfalls were beautiful, but a tiny let down after Montenegro.

Beautiful! Chose the day at the beach; great, relaxing excursion at end of long cruise. Loved that it was “one stop shopping”, meaning that everything was in close proximity; it was at a private yacht club so beach chairs, bathroom, reataurant and bar were in one place. It was like staying on the cruise ship but with a beach and authentic local food. Some would say its a waste of money; could stay on the ship for all that but it was a nice break.

Krka National Park was stunning. If I could go back, I’d bring my swimsuit 👙to be able to hop in the cool clear water at the base of the waterfall. Pack snacks and bring water. They only accept cash.

This was our last excursion entitled “A Day at the Beach”. We were taken by bus to a private marina / beach club where we had loungers and beach umbrellas. There was a bar and restaurant right there as well. Again the “beac” was entirely rocks and I feel this should have been explained in the description of the excursion. The food at the restaurant was quite good. I don’t think I would book this excursion again because there was nothing else to do in that area and if you did not wear the right footwear it was very difficult to walk on the rocks.
