In port for only 5 hours today. Caught the bus into town for 1.5 Euro - would recommend this as it's a very long walk! As we arrived just after 7am not many shops were open. The two museums opened at 9am and were free on the day we arrived. Thankful for that as we spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Grabbed a coffee from Starbucks :)

We had a very short stay in Chania. Crete has so much to offer and we were only able to make it to the harbor. That being said, the harbor is a nice pleasant area that we easily spent a couple hours wandering around. You could easily spend a full day on an excursion to some of the historical areas around Crete.

Booked a tour on the ship for the beach. The water was too rough for me with rock to fall on and the sand is horrible. But it was a lovely day in the sunshine not too hot.
