Review summary

privacy was invaded.second day we were in our cabin having fun inour mood.when all of a sudden three people were on the balcony looking into room.i went to custumers svc to complain.lady told me she would look into .she called back and fluffed it off as a mistake. I req meeting with hotel manager.we had meeting with him deck chief and cust, relation manager they said they would help.but nothing happenend whan I got home I talked to celebrity they offered me 300dollars I told them .it was an insult since I spent 6000 dol.later on they called me back and raise it to 1000 dol.i didn't accept and was going to sue but didn't they should have offered a cruise to replace it.i have cruised celebrity almost 100 times and always liked .them we did not have curtains open for remainder of cruise and never sat outside.cruise policy is to send advisory to cabins that were to be cleaned on bacony.never again .will we book a balcony

Why would you leave the curtains open when you wanted privacy? Would you do that at a hotel or at home when others were nearby? I would never expect complete privacy on a cruise balcony since they is nothing but a small partition between the balconies.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy the cruise. I had a good experience on the veranda with the person in the next cabin. He was Canadian and I’m USA. Turns out we both did the same things north of Montreal and had pictures to prove it.

You are reviewing almost 2 years after cruise and you thought you should get a free cruise out of it.

I assume that was a cleaning crew. That happens on many cruises on port days. There is always a warning not to leave anything outside, close the door and draw the curtains on such occasions. Maybe this person didn't pay attention to the warning.

If the people on the balcony were traumatised I hope they don't chase you for compo. How did they get there
