Amazing magical port , arrive early cable car up to the top for a stroll around, but leave early too to avoid the queues. Amazing views from all sorts of special vantage points.

There were 4 cruise ships there at the same time. The island could not handle the amt of people. If there were less people there maybe it would have been better. Too crowded to enjoy.

Santorini is one of my favourite places in the Med. We decided to walk up as well as down - a good way to burn some of the calories from all the eating on board! I cannot stress enough how breathtaking Oia is - we took a bus there an back and very glad we didn't miss it. The whole day in Santorini was simply wonderful.

We got a speedboat from Fira to Oia after getting off the tender boat. We spent a few hours walking around Oia which was beautiful but it was so crowded which made it difficult to walk around which is a shame. It would be an amazing place without so many tourists. We then took a bus back to Fira where we walked around and stopped for a light lunch with a fabulous view over the caldera. We then walked down the steps to the port rather than queuing for the cable car. We had a lovely day on Santorini.

We took a boat ride round to the other side of the island and visited Oia, the area with the famous blue domed churches. Beautiful! A must see area. On our return we took the cable car back to the port. Stunning views of the area.
