Did not do excursion. Just walked around the city. Close to the port so easy to get to. Enjoyed it a lot.

Had a tour guide via TUI who was excellent, especially the history of the island

Great port, except pouring rain. Hired car and driver toured the old town, and some of the country side. Outside of Rhodes we saw many beautiful hill side towns

Be careful at Lindos Acropolis where there are no railings on the stairs. It's a long downhill walk from the tour bus parking lot to the town.

Amazingly well preserved medieval city, that can be explored on one's own.

We were at this port two days! It was beautiful! Going there at night for a drink in a cafe and people watching was great! The small streets were magically lit up! Stopped in a local cafe for drinks and appetizer. It was amazing! Also found a beach that was out of the way. There were rock instead of sand but water was crystal clear. A little cold but was sure to go in anyways. Very pretty place!
