The ruins were neat to see, but not as exciting as I had hoped. Still, it's cool to think you are in the same place as the original Olympians from almost 3,000 years ago. The shops near the pier are quite nice with quality items at good prices. We didn't dine at the restaurants, but they looked very cool, with several of them along the water's edge on the back side of the main street where the shops were.

Olympia tour was underwhelming. The small town near by was touristy, but very cute. Heard the small area around the port was more worthwhile.

Great ruins to explore. Our tour guide was very difficult to understand. We had to rely on reading the signs at the attractions.

Unfortunately it rained while we were here, so even though we had an excursion through Cruising Excursions, it wasn't quite what any of us had hoped for. Instead of a guided tour through the ruins, the rain meant we just had a guided tour through the museum on site. It was still interesting though. Once the rain died down we hopped over to the ruins on our own before returning to the tour bus, and it was so neat to see where the Olympics began.

lovely to see the site of the olympics with a great guide, but the best part of the excursion was stopping at a family vineyard where they fed and watered us and performed live entertainment. great fun

We had a guide here. He was very good and we were please. It is one of those places that I would not care to return to. Not much there.

Took a private tour through Travel Insiders on this one. Highly recommend.

If you don't go to Olympia there isn't much here to see and do. After a quick walk around and some souvenir shopping we went back to the ship to relax by the pool.
