This is a beautiful country with friendly people. You can miss the carpet school, though it was full of gorgeous rugs- expensive though

We were surpised how much we enjoyed our time in Turkey. Our guide was beyond fantastic! The ruins in Ephesus were amazing. And the carpet weaving center was a huge hit.

Ephesus was gorgeous, our rug demonstration was great, but ridiculously expensive carpets. The Virgin Mary house site, was good for avid religious people. I know our fellow passengers loved the shopping.

Walking the same streets others have walked for 6000 years? Can't be beat.

When I'm asked about our excursions, and this one in particular, I always answer, "Depends." No "not a judgement based on a varitey of alternatives" but Depends, bring them with you, you'll need them. Turkey is not known for its public facilities they are few and far between and will cost you. My advice....Depends.
