Costa Serena Cruise Review to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Sail Date: July 06, 2008
Ship: Costa Serena
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 9 years ago
Review SummaryThis was our family's first cruise and we enjoyed the experience. We didn't take the ship excursions, simply went off on our own and toured or hired a guide. Enjoyed the stops, especially Turkey and Croatia. Food was fine, ship was great, embarkation slightly confusing for first-timers. Found additional fees added up - be sure to budget cold drinks, better coffees and bottled waters into your trip.

Pros: Very nice to be in one place each night and not worry about moving luggage and finding rooms. When travelling with teens it is great to have food always available.
Cons: Didn't like having to pay for all drinks except unbottled water and bad coffee ....
