Maybe our favorite port up to this point in our trip. Fascinating history. Enjoyed the musicians and the lunch we had there. The trip up to the wall and over to the beach were both a must!

One complaint: too short a visit. We saw so many other things we'd have liked to do: Cable car to the top of the mountain, visiting the smaller island, etc. We paid for a (non-Costa) tour from the city walls. Very interesting and pretty place.

The attraction here is the stunning fortifications around this town. The town itself is well-preserved and is quite hilly. Wear good shoes and do some exploring in this beautiful town.

One of the trip highlights , especially if you are a GOT fan . Walk the walks , have a beer on the promenade , very cool experience. You won’t regret it

Take the cable car from just outside the city walls up to the top of the mountain. To get great views of the city and the coastline also for a few kuna you can visit the museum in the Napoleonic fort where you get a really good insight into the most recent troubles in the Balkans.

We did the Game of Thrones excursion through the ship and it was fantastic! They would show still shots from all the scenes when we were in different part of the city to show where scenes were filmed. Very clean and neat city. Food and wine was again great and for a great price.
