This is a great town, but our tour took us to the Old Town area too late in the day, it should have been the first place, it's the most interesting and where GOT was filmed

Visit the city and make sure you walk on top of the outer wall of the city. The view is spectacular of the city and the ocean. You can gain access to the wall right at the entrance to the city were the tender boats drop you off. There is a small fee to walk the wall, but, worth it. Also enjoy the local seafood. There are a lot of restaurants in the city.

Town has been well rebuilt after the 1991 shelling but too crowded with tourists and high prices, for example the city wall walk ticket is US$14.

The tour did not afford us an opportunity to look inside any of the buildings or shop with the native merchants.

The steps at the wall will test you if you are overweight, a smoker or elderly. Views, etc. are not to be missed.

Dubrovnik does not accept Euro's, we were not informed prior to getting off the ship. You can exchange in old town without the service fee the ship charges.

Took a nice tour to Cavita and old town and to a fun Mill where they served wonderful sandwiches made from great homemake bread.
