Corfu is lovely. We found this shop where the owner's son does spear fishing, he is world known and we purchased a beautiful shell that came from 150 feet in the ocean. This is a must see.

Bus trip excursion to Paleokastritsa & monastery was OK but I would have liked more time to photograph the lovely beaches and less time packed like sardines into the monastery. Returned to Corfu town for a brief walk-around after driving by a viewpoint to see the...airport. Definitely a weak excursion.

Did the 4x4 excursion---so much fun and highly recommended!! You get to explore the island with a guide, but drive your own jeep (manual) and get to see so much!!

Port was close enough to walk into town, so we did not do an excursion. We chose to take a hop-on-hop-off bus and had a great time exploring the town.

We loved Corfu and want to go back again to stay several days.
