Booked a tour with the ship. Achilleion Palace & Corfu town. What a beautiful Palace! So much history with the Lady of the Palace. Had some free time and we went to a old fort.

Did not take an excursion here either. Walked around the Old Town and had a lunch here too. Was very impressed and had a good time, it was charming old town. many others went to the beach in this port as well.

Beautiful area. You can use the tours or walk to the terminal and take a taxi to see around the port. Some beaches and Achileon Palace is a 50mins must see attraction !

This was the only port where we did not take an organized excursion. We did a Hop on Hop off bus and explored at the various stops. We loved going through the neighborhood outdoor markets. Saw lots of fish mongers, butchers , spice shops etc. Fun fun. Our favorite stop.

i did not join excrusion. There is a city bus waiting at the port terminal. 1.75 euro to city center and the bus driver will provide the change. Enter the fortress is 12 euro. If you do not take the bus going back, it is about 20 min walk.

Our visit to Corfu. We got on the Corfu City Tour bus which is a hop on hop off bus at the port. This gave a general look at the historical and cultural monuments of Corfu. We went out to Kanoni which is a beautiful viewpoint. From here we went into the Old Fortress and climbed up to the top to see the magnificent view.

Loved it. Will come back we did t have a tour scheduled for this stop we thought we would just take a cab to downtown and have lunch and then head back Our taxi driver was awesome he turned into a tour guide for us and took us everywhere. So many beautiful picture spots he took us to. A beach. A great restaurant and a great shopping area and even a monastery we had the best time and he showed how absolutely beautiful Corfu is

We enjoyed Corfu! The shops are open just for the ships that dock here. There is a very nice collection of stores to peruse in Old Town. Also the Fort was fun to tour and from the top, the views are outstanding. You don't need to pay for an excursion here - the cruise ship will have an affordable bus into town.
