Avoid the natives around the back of the island. I was traveling with my daughter and would rate them borderline harassing and definitely intimidating. They even snatched $20 from my hand, and I was not going to argue over the price of the shirt because, at that point, I was not very comfortable. I could not wait to get out of there! The beach loungers for 2 were an excellent idea! I also enjoyed the lunch provided by the staff. You will need something for your feet if you plan to go in the water! Very rocky and rough. And I regret not ziplining :(

We really enjoyed this private island. Weather was perfect! Beach and water were amazing. Just don't walk through the back where the locals are selling. It kind of scared me because they follow you and are very pushy.

Really not Haiti (that is not a bad thing) and not an Island it is a walled of part of Haiti that is leased to RCL. It is very nice.. comments about the craft market are correct pushy, and not crafts or handmade.. just more junk.... also no need for excursion if you just want beach access was not told that so I didn’t prepare. Would have gotten off ship with swim suit. Beach is right there at the port.

I thought I would be disappointed in the whole private poet thing but once I learned my way around and everything this port has to offer I fell in love! Some very beautiful beaches/water, you don’t have to pay for chairs and if you get to the beach early there is tons of shade under the trees! Water is so nice! Warm and pretty clean! Not crystal clear but pretty close :) only beach I’ve enjoyed more is Bermuda, Jamaica is 3rd and Bahamas comes definitely last :) try the labadoozie!!!

Labadee, Haiti was beautiful but the local market vendors ruined it for us. They were super aggressive in your face "how much money you got, come here, I got something for you", they wouldn't take no for an answer. They were super rude in the way they served and spoke to us. We felt very scared for our safety and vowed if we made it out alive we would never return. The beach was gorgeous and no one bothered us.

I did the zip-line and that was fun. I felt it was over-priced for the amount of time spent but I'm glad I got to experience it. There is a water slide as well but felt it was worth the price.

This port was an experience. Note for groups: There are 3 restaurant areas. My oldest and I got separated from the rest of our group because I was just told to meet at the restaurant. I asked someone and they pointed out the one we went to. The rest of my family went to a different one. Plus my wife had my phone, ship card, and passport. Gulp. Was about to go to security office when my FIL found me.
