We did not do any excursions in this port we did get off the ship and explore the port area very nice Port area set up. We inquired about getting our passports stamped they do not allow that there at the cruise port per the Dominican republic government. If you're interested in a foot cleansing through fish therapy they do have fish therapy available there in the cruise port.

We did the train (tram) excursion through town and it was interesting that security was everywhere all armed. There were 2 security hanging on the side of the tram, a police car and police motorcycle following us and security at almost every street corner. I wonder if the fact we were next to Haiti had anything to do with that.
