Didn't like the beach. Too much seaweed and coral rock to avoid. Shopping was very nice.

We did not do an excursion, but walked up the beach past the commercial port and had the beach to ourselves. The water was lovely, but there is definitely still a lot of damage due to the hurricanes. There was a TON of beach glass that had washed up and it was fun to collect. I wish we had stayed in this port longer.

Our second time here so we didn’t book any excursion. Just took a nice leisurely walk along the sea shore and around the shopping area. Even with the scattered early morning showers, still ended up to be a beautiful day.

We booked our snorkeling excursion through this site, with Papa Js. Amazing and beautiful place. The water is breathtaking. Everyone from the bus driver to the crew on the boat were knowledgable and super friendly. Snorkeling was amazing. As it was all 3 of our first times, they made it memorable. We had a total of 11 on our boat to go out, which again is way less than booking with the cruise line. We went out to the grand turk wall which was incredible, saw a sea turtle and millions of fish, also the coral reef was beautiful. I was the only one from my group to get back off and swim with the guide to it, I recommend it! I will mention, there is a ship that was washed up to shore from a hurricane about 8 years ago, its old and rusty. Please be cautious. It's not something you should swim around if you go to this beach area. A lady was cut pretty bad while we were waiting to get on our boat to go out snorkeling. However, it does have keep off and caution written on it, so not sure why they thought it was a good idea to swim up under it 🙄

beautiful place to be if you love beaches. the water is gorgeous. this was my second time visiting here and thought I would try Jack Shack because of all the hype I'd heard about it. honestly didn't think it was anything special and didn't think the staff was the friendliest. although Topher was very entertaining.

We rented a golf cart from MaxCart Auto and explored on our own, Drove up to the light house, got lost for about a second in town and wound up at Jacks Shack. There were two ships in port so the port beaches and pools were packed. Glad we stayed at Jacks. Rented two umbrellas from Jack ($10 each) and relaxed on their beach. Had some great Jerk chicken and drinks on the beach. Kids loved playing with their resident dogs. Lots of beach glass if you're into that thing!!

The chairs are free but the islanders will try to rent their umbrellas to you. We found that if you go to the right , not people hang out over there and you can lay out. We walked the beach and found sea urchins, green sea glass and huge shells. It was pretty! We heard from others that you could go out and snorkel yourself. We recommend that you take your water shoes and snorkel gear. There are a lot of rocks in the water to hurdle over. You will not be disappointed by the beach.
