There is a Margartia-ville right in the cruise dock area that has a swim up bar in the pool, a DJ, gift shop and you can hang out there all day! We didn't know this and will try to do it next time.

2nd time we have been to Grand Turk. The water was clear in January, but in September they have a lot of seaweed. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about the seaweed, so just look for a nice spot on down the beach and enjoy your time there. We went to Margaritaville, got our passports stamped, looked in the shops and walked on the beach. In January, we went on a bus tour of the island and learned a lot of interesting facts and talked to some of the natives. Love visiting Grand Turk.

There really isn’t a whole lot to see or do on Grand Turk BUT the beaches are beautiful, nice soft white sand and warm crystal blue water. We did an atv island tour which was a lot of fun, it included some off roading and a stop at the islands highest point (you can see whole island there isn’t much there at all). The port here has a nice shopping center with restaurants/ bar options. There was also a nice pool there and it seemed like quite the party spot!! We walked a little further down to Jacks Shack which was a cool little dive bar with several pet dogs roaming around. I would go back.

We booked “Clear Bottom Kayaking” through Carnival and loved it. The kayaks don’t need a clear bottom, you’ll be too busy looking up and taking all the beauty in. On the tour, our guide found conch, starfish, sea urchin, live sand dollar, sea cucumber, jelly fish, and many varieties of fish. Towards the end of the excursion we paddled out of the mangrove into the ocean and even saw sea turtles! A+ excursion if you’re looking to see nature and get some exercise while you’re at it. Once back in port, we knocked out some shopping and then relaxed in Margaritaville for a bit before lounging in the free beach chairs. Great port!

My new fave spot! The local beer is amazing, I ain't gonna lie! ☺ Spend some time in the local areas to eat. Then come back to Jack shack to relax by the beach. After a few hours drop by margaritaville. Ziplining and other activities will have died down and they offer more discounted rates for everything! I'll be back in a few months sure thing! Also ask the local (possibly taxi driver) where is the best spot to have cracked conch! Must try!
