We didn't do an excursion but spent the day at the pool in Amber Cove after visiting the shops, there was no fee. You don't need to pay for a ride it is a short 5 minute walk from the ship. It has slides and zip lining, a swim up bar and food

we did Outback tour. It was a good way to experience the life of the DR people. We saw some uncomfortable realities of the poor life and experienced a lot of learning about plant life. a wonderful learning experience.
