It takes a 35 minute open air drive along a dusty gravel road to reach the resort. But it was very nice indeed. The beach had both sun and shade. The water was a bit more challenging, but a good exercise. The waves were making big crashes onto a cliff to the side. The food was great. My highlight memory was the zip-line offering. You can ride fast across a long span over the ocean, as part of the 4 or 5 zip line sections. The staff here was very professional and fun.

Wow. Amber Cove was my favorite port. We went sailing and had a blast. There were flowers and the area was clean and attractive. It would have been better if we had stayed there longer. I was not ready to go back to the boat.

Amber Cove was a beautiful port with a small shopping plaza and pool area for free! It was a great area to relax and I’d love to return for another visit!

Beautiful hot sunny day. A nice walk from the ship but transported to and fro. Shopping. Eating. Drinking right there. Beautiful pic with Amber Cove.

Thus is a very beautiful port. We walked around here with some friends we met on the ship. Lots of shops and stuff there. Be sure to meet others when you dine to meet new friends.

Very warm but again the port is well laid out. A very nice pool with swim up bar and more lite shopping. A nice duty free store offerred up a new bottle of 100 proof Jack Daniel Travelers Single Barrell that I added to my collection.

Enjoyed the free pool. (Especially since the pools on Carnival Horizion are so small and crowded). It has a swim up bar (crowded) and an interesting shape. My son played in the kids slide/splash area. Sadly the large water slides (also free) were out of service the day I was there. I bought most of my souvenirs at the stores there. It had a resort feel. I did not see a beach that was free or available to us.
