We were the only ship in this port. So it was like a ghost town (in a good way, it wasnt so crowded) after we got back from our City Tour Excursion. Our excursion was lovely. It was nice to be able to see the DR and the locals.

Did La Casa en la Playa excursion. Worth every penny. Relaxing and Mama and her staff were great. And the rum punch flows freely

Did a off carnival shore tour with https://www.iguanamama.com/eat-drink-be-merry-puerto-plata-city-tour.html . The BEST way to go 6 stars a MUST do,we will do again next time

Dominican Republic was beautiful. We did an ATV excursion with Quad Tours 2J. It was amazing. The guides were great and the service was top notch.

We did the Waterfalls of Damajagua excursion, and it was great! It is quite a step hike in places and the path is pretty rough and rocky in spots. Not well suited for the elderly or folks with mobility issues.

My favorite port. It was absolutely gorgeous, the shopping center right at the port was neat and clean and looked very new. We did the Damajagua Waterfalls excursion and had a great time.
