Not that safe. They lead you to your excursions in old school buses. People and children aggressively trying to sell you things. Nothing to do if you just walk off the ship.

It's lovely to see a different part of Honduras BUT this port is no where near ready to accept over 1,000 passengers. Taxi service is difficult to find and when walking it's not the most scenic nor is there anything to see anyway. Taking a walk up a long pathway leads you to a town square with a church (ok, cute) but the balance of the town is certainly for locals only and not tourists.

We took a ciity tour. The leader gave us much insite on the history on Hondorus. The views were incredible

Liked family farm we went to, but old school bus was old and had no A/C. Also, 2 out of 4 tenders were broken, Guests with wheelchairs or canes had to wait over an hour in line in the hot sun. Royal Caribbean staff did not offer them seats on the dock until right before we got on the tender. Shameful.
