Absolutely loved the vibe and people of Jamaica! We took the River Tubing excursion through Carnival. Once we checked in George our driver took 11 of us to the "back roads" of Jamaica! it was beautiful yet trashed at the same time. The banana, coconut, sugarcane and bamboo were a sight to see. George was able to answer my very touristy questions and never blinked a eye at how dumb they may have sounded. The driving experience was all in its own. First your on the "wrong" side of the road then you add a "one lane two car" as George called it and to top it off the dropoffs that seemed to go forever. I had never been so nervous but George was true spirit and sand don't worry about anything and it made it worth it. The river tubing was equally as fun. The water was crisp and clear. Our guides knew how to have fun and their energy really amped the group up. Before we left port we were able to haggle some good deals on shirts and dred hats (for the kids of course🙄!) My husband had several guys offer him some "smoke" but didn't press the issue when we said no thanks! Jamaica is Jamaica you love it or hate it and I think I might just love it!

Absolutely loved it. We went to an adult resort and spa (booked on my own) for the day and had the best time. The food and drinks were amazing. The locals were not as aggressive as other places I've been.

We did an NCL excursion for this as well to Dunn's River Falls. What a terrific day! Our guide took his time to show us many little things that we would have missed if we were to do it on our own. Our guide was fun and funny too! Great day!

I've been 3 times and like how they have developed the port area. I walked outside of the port area and sure I had many offers for taxis and other items but a quick no thanks with a smile and it was no problem.
