Locals to pushy on taxi rides to local beaches, made it slightly uncomfortable even riding in shuttle to beach ! Slightly good time while spent looking at local shops otherwise

This stop was a complete dump. Very poor community... Continually getting asked if we wanted a taxi ride or to buy some weed! Next time, I think I will stay on the ship...

We booked with Phil Lafayette tours. Phil was fantastic. We highly recommend him. He is very knowlegeable about his country. He made sure we had a great time. We did the falls and river tubing, and then he took us on a tour through fern gulley. We were so busy, we only stopped for a little snack at gas station. That was all we needed. We ate when we got back on board the ship.

We went to the Dunn's River Falls. It was very fun. You actually climb through the waterfall. It's not hard. There are lots of picture opportunities throughout, so bring a camera. Watch out for someone with a polaride camera. He'll charge you $8 for one picture. Not really worth it. Also be careful when walking through the market after the waterfall. People there are really sneaky and will try to get money out of you in any way possible. We also went to the Bamboo Beach Club. It was nice. Beautiful beach and a nice place to relax after climbing through a waterfall. The food and drinks were very good, too.

This was a terrible port. Unfriendly people, poor shops, high prices. The taxi drivers and others follow you around constantly. The shopping area is dirty and uninviting, and feels unsafe.
