Msc changed the itinerary last minute, which put us here on a national holiday when everything was closed - unless you took a ship based/booked shore excursion

The reason I rated this stop as only average is the way you are treated once you leave the ship. We did not do a shore excursion here as we wanted to do things on our own. Bad idea and big mistake. We were constantly harassed, assaulted, and stalked by just about everyone here. One person grabbed at my son! We were on the island for less than 2 hours. We did not have a pleasant experience here in Jamaica at all and definitely did not purchase anything while here. Next time, I will do a tour and be done with it. That is if there is a next time. If you don't book a tour then I highly suggest staying on the ship!

We did the Dunns Falls, Ragamuffin, and Bobsled. They said we needed mosquito repellent and sold us bands for $5 each, but we did not see any mosquitoes. Need money for a locker. Vendors here were easy going. Line for the Bobsled was over 45 minutes. No line for Ragamuffin. Both rides were mild. Dunns Falls was difficult in places and we were all a little scraped and bruised. Nice adventure but not sure I would go again. Vendors at the Falls were terrible and tried to scam everyone. They were very aggressive and would make loud and rude comments when you walked past. Really ruined our day. DO NOT stop to talk to them. Falls only takes cash. So make sure you have some for a locker.

It is best to book your shore excursions before you arrive in port. Blue Hole River Gully Rainforest Adventure Tour is a great experience if you like natural water attractions mixed with a little adventure. You also get to see the interior of the island. It is 15 min and you get to do shopping.

Beautiful! Had a day pass at jewel dunns river resort... it was great and close to port.
